Train car introduction
7000 series
The 7000 series was introduced in 1980 for the Kobe Line and Takarazuka Line and was built over a period of 10 years, with more than 200 cars built, the largest in Hankyu. In the early days of construction, it was Steel cars body, but since 1984 it has been built with an aluminum body.
In addition to installing a sweep fan inside the car, the cool-air grille has been made continuous, the sliding glass gable sliding door in the connecting part has been enlarged, and the shape of the seat armrests has been changed to improve seating comfort. In addition, from the car built in 1988, the riser plate under the seat has a light bronze finish, giving the interior a more relaxed atmosphere.
Since 1998, we have been renewing the exterior and interior of the 7000 series, and installing emergency communication equipment, side sliding door opening and closing warning devices, and wheelchair spaces. In addition, the interior of the car was equipped with an LED-type in-car guidance and information system.
Special notes

Since 2008, major interior renovation work has been carried out as part of the renewal work. Since 2014, work has been carried out to install VVVF inverter control similar to that of new vehicles. The main motors have been replaced with totally enclosed permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) with an output of 190 kW. This series of renovation work has adopted the latest equipment and facilities at the time of construction, and there are many variations, such as slight changes to the front shape.
