Train car introduction

1000 series

1000 series

The development concept of the 1000 series is a comfortable travel space for all customers—further improvement of environmental performance, and it is a railcar that aims to further improve environmental performance, such as quietness and energy saving performance. It is operated on the Kobe Line and Takarazuka Line.

By adopting low-noise equipment for the driving gear, we have reduced noise inside and outside the vehicle. In addition to the use of high-efficiency vehicle equipment, all lighting equipment has been converted to LEDs, achieving energy savings of approximately 50% compared to conventional vehicles.
The interior lighting is direct to create a calm atmosphere and create a sense of openness in the car. In addition, in order to ensure the safety of passengers in the car in the event of sudden braking, the sleeve partitions at the end of the seats have been enlarged, and vertical handrails are also installed.
For the side windows, triple or double unit windows are used so that both ends of the triple window and the window near the side entrance of the double window can be opened and closed.
Takarazuka Line is also active as a Limited Express during the morning and evening rush hours.

Special notes

Body

It is made of lightweight aluminum alloy that is easily recyclable and has a double-skin structure to reduce vibration and improve sound insulating properties.
The double-skin structure has been adopted since it was adopted in the 9300 series built in 2003.

In-car information device

A large 32-inch, half-size LCD display (full HD compatible) is adopted for the display of the in-car information device to improve visibility and the quality of information provision.

When the display is split into two screens, it is possible to display video information, such as news, weather forecasts, and advertising videos, along with the train type, destination, and information on the stations.

Driver's cab desk

The monitor screen is mounted directly in front of the driver's cab desk, and the train radio control device is mounted on the desk to improve operability.

Main motor

The totally enclosed permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with a rated output of 190 kW is adopted. PMSM is a motor that uses a permanent magnet in the rotor and has less current loss and higher efficiency than conventional induction motors. In addition, the totally enclosed self-cooling structure reduces power consumption and noise.
