Efforts to improve wheelchair accessibility

Hankyu Railway is promoting barrier-free access so that elderly and disabled passengers can use stations and trains comfortably.

音声ガイドシステム

Itami Station, which collapsed in the Great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake in 1995, was rebuilt as a station equipped with an innovative audio guide system at the time as a guide for visually impaired passengers, and is still highly regarded nationwide as a barrier-free model station. In accordance with the Transportation Barrier-Free Act and the basic concept of barrier-free transportation formulated by local governments along the line, we aim to create a facility that can welcome customers not only as a place to get on and off the railway, but also as a regional transportation node.
In addition, we provide education for station Station staff to experience various barriers on their own, and we are also promoting the acquisition of qualifications as service assistants.

Keeping Escalator safe

In order to use Escalator safely, we are raising awareness of "carrying handrails" and "stopping in two rows".

エスカレーターマーク
  • Escalator may be subject to an emergency outage. Please bring handrails for your safety.
  • If you walk, you may lose your balance and fall, or collide with other customers and cause them to fall, making the ride unsafe. Please stand still while using the ride.

In addition, if you open one side of a two-seater Escalator, please use it in two rows, as the other side of the row will be longer, and Congestion such as Platform and aisles may occur.
